42-year-old Betsy Faria was vibrant, positive, and surrounded by a supportive circle of family and friends. In 2011, she was murdered in her own home, allegedly by her friend, Pam Hupp.

In this episode, Dawn sits down with Betsy’s daughter Mariah Day. Mariah is speaking out about an investigation that was misguided from the start, and the irreparable damage it has caused her family. Although her stepfather Russ Faria was exonerated after being wrongfully convicted for the murder of her mother, Mariah is still facing obstacles. She wants people to know that what you hear or see in the media isn’t always the whole story.
