In this episode, Joshua and Caleb sit down with Jacob Rash of the NCWRC. Jacob is the Coldwater Research Coordinator for NC, meaning he spends most of his time thinking about and working with trout. We discuss: 

-Jake's story of becoming a trout biologist

-the issues facing trout in NC
-the immaculate native North Carolina brook trout
-NC trout fishing regulations and the whys behind them
-how better understanding trout has made Jake a better fisherman
-how we can better protect trout in NC
