Bishop Downs is the former General Superintendent of the UPCA, he retired in January from the position after leading the Australian church for 21 years. Prior to being elected General Superintendent he served as the Home Missions Director and also as a Presbyter, totalling 41 years on the Executive Board in Australia. Along with that, he pastored Calvary Chapel in Canberra ACT for 28 years before becoming Bishop in 2012. In our conversation, we talk about how he found his way to the Pentecostal church, advise he has for young leaders, what he learned from 28 years of pastoring, some of his miraculous stories, and much more.
