The westbound lanes of the Warrego Highway at North Tivoli in Ipswich were reopened last night after The Mount Crosby Bridge overpass was struck and damaged by a truck on Friday.

Ipswich Mayor Teresa Harding told 4BC’s Bill McDonald “I think the community breathes a sigh of relief.”

“It’s good news, although it will be inconvenient for some time for residents.”
