After 35 years, the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation has ended its partnership with the Ekka Strawberry Sundaes.

Communications Manager of the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, Chloe Nguyen told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, "It's a sad day."

"I think what's really important to know is that the Strawberry Sundaes, like you said, they're not going anywhere, so rest assured you'll still be able to get a delicious ice cream each year."

"As we approach our 40-year anniversary next year, we're going to be focusing our efforts on more sustainable programs where we can have the biggest impact for the community," Ms Nguyen said.

Old homes don’t seem to have the same issues as new ones, like ceiling leaks and wall cracks—so is it due to less skilled builders or the use of lower quality materials?

Building and property development expert from LEFTA, Steve Chandler told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, "It seems to be all these modern homes have got cracking problems two or three years into their life."

"It's because the way that we build is very different now than what we did back then," Mr Chandler continued.
