Brisbane's viral baker and owner of Brooki Bakehouse, Brooke Bellamy, has been accused of plagiarising recipes from two bakers. 

Nagi Maehashi from RecipeTin Eats took to social media yesterday to share a comparison of her recipe to some in Bellamy's cookbook 'Bake with Brooki.'

Bellamy responded on her Instagram, "I immediately offered to remove both recipes from future reprints to prevent further aggravation, which was communicated to Nagi swiftly through discussions.”

This morning, a US-based baker, Sally McKenney, claimed Bellamy plagiarised one of her recipes. 

Bill McDonald said on 4BC Mornings, "It's certainly the talk of the country at the moment, and with lawyers involved now, it's a PR disaster out of nowhere."

The introduction of Trump's tariffs has been blamed for a downturn in travel to the United States. 

Flight Centre Managing Director, Graham 'Scroo' Turner told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, "The overall numbers of people travelling overseas are significantly up, but they're down about 40% into the States, and it just means that people on those sort of trips are tending to avoid the States."

"I think people get used to the somewhat changed circumstances of travelling to the States fairly quickly, but it's still going to be a couple of months where you know there's going to be some uncertainty and people are worried," Mr Turner continued.

Anzac Day events continued over the weekend to remember those who put their lives on the line for Australia and New Zealand. 

Wounded Heroes Australia is an organisation dedicated to supporting defence families facing physical, mental, and financial challenges. 

President of Wounded Heroes Australia, Martin Shaw, told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, "I looked after about 33,000 veterans and families in immediate financial crisis."

"Last year, we looked after just over 4200, 1200 of those in Queensland, and facing homelessness."

"Our demand is absolutely huge, and we're just forever fundraising, but understanding also that our space is just in that first response space. And then we'll work with the other organizations for the longer game," Mr Shaw continued.
