Our E3 2012 and PAX Prime Games of Show (Dishonored & XCOM Enemy Unknown) have finally hit and they are doing a lot to fill the void left by the disappointing release of Resident Evil 6. We have some serious game of the year contenders here folks! In the second segment, we talk Cliff Bleszinski and his surprise departure from Epic Games as well as some unfortunate stipulations put forth by Microsoft that will restrict us from streaming Halo 4 or any other major Microsoft published title in the future.

It is a sad sad week for anyone who once called themselves fans of the famed Resident Evil series. Resident Evil 6 has arrived and as we predicted since the release of the new demo, the game is disappointing in a lot of ways. We struggle to find redeeming qualities in that game but have instead found satisfaction in FTL, a surprise hit indie title that has taken the industry by storm in recent weeks.

Sorry for the delay this week. We have been scrambling to get the new website up and running so the podcast had to take a back seat. We wrap up some thoughts on Sleeping Dogs and Borderlands 2 this week and then give Brad and Carlos a chance to talk about their adventures at a local indie gaming event. We also touch on the highly anticipated release of XCOM: Enemy Unknown. O yeah... fart noises. Did I mention we launched a new website today?

Arriving with the Summer of Arcade 2012 line up, Dust An Elysian Tail is a member of a genre that's seeing a declining membership these days: 2D metroidvanias. With that said, Nolan and Nick take a look at this beautifully animated title for this week's Audible Impressions.

Borderlands 2 has landed and Resident Evil 6 is peaking over the horizon. Unfortunately, one of these two titles is not looking so hot to any of those sitting around the table on this show. We also discuss the awesomeness of Torchlight 2 and shed some insight on the recent announcement of Dragon Age 3.

One of the year's biggest surprises sneaks up on us this week and slits our throats... silently. Mark of the Ninja has proven itself as both worthy of your $15 and as one of the best stealth ninja games in the past decade! We also discuss the continuing success of the Walking Dead Telltale Series, Tekken Tag 2, and the senseless mass genocide that we must endure during turret sequences in games.

Was it a bad idea to try and record a podcast with 6 people, 4 microphones, and shots of Vodka? Yes it was. Of course, that would never stop us from doing such a thing! We are only together in the same place two or three times a year so consider this a celebration of sorts! We try our best to stay focused on games like Dead Island Riptide, State of Decay, and Aliens Colonial Marines but the alcohol flowed freely and so did our minds! If you like listening to the ramblings of a crazy person (Joseph) or have been curious as to what it means to be "White Girl Wasted," this is the show for you!
