4Player Podcast

The theme on this weeks episode is busty women performing heroic feats like slicing through waves of killer zombies with a glitzy chainsaw or stabbing potential rapists through the face with sharp, sharp glass. You guessed it! Lollipop Chainsaw has landed and made a splash in the way that any Suda 51 game should! In the second segment, the conversation switches to our distaste for the the long-running focus on Tomb Raider as an over-sexualized portrayal of women in games. We welcome back Mike and Kris for another hard hitting episode of 4Player Podcast!

E3 2012 is over and instead of just recording a regular E3 day 3 show, we mashed our E3 finale into the weekly episode of Cocktail Time Live! We talk about our final hours on the show floor and share our thoughts on the show as a whole. Bob takes another disgusting shot while Nick slowly dies of the E3 flu in a hospital bed. Thanks again to our community who has faithfully followed us throughout the years, it wouldn't be a great E3 without you!

Day 2 of E3 is over and we are tired! We played a lot of killer games over the past 2 days but we have finally settled on a Game of Show winner. We talk at length about our hands-on impressions of Hitman Absolution as well other game of show contenders like Quantum Conundrum, DmC, and Dishonored! Oh yeah, Brad also laughs like a clown for like 5 minutes!

The doors to E3 2012 opened today and allowed us to bathe in its magnificent glory! After a seemingly underwhelming Nintendo press briefing, we were pleased to see that the show floor is jam packed full of quality titles that will be sure to keep us busy for the next 3 days. Today, we talk about Metal Gear Rising, ZombieU, Far Cry 3, Hitman Absolution and a lot more! While some of what we played met our expectations, some exceeded them in some pretty unexpected ways! Tune in again tomorrow for more impressions from the show floor!

Nolan make his triumphant return to 4Player and now that all of that school nonsense is over with, he has been playing a lot of Dragon's Dogma. In fact, Dragon's Dogma is kind of a theme on this weeks show since it has us singing and dancing and busting out the hand lotion left and right! Game dates and delays are abound as well as some some disheartening news about 38 Studios. It is a great week to play games (not make them) so tune in, grab some summer sausage, perhaps some hand lotion, and bask in our exuberant light!

Brad is out of town this week which means... bust out the alcohol! Mike, Carlos, and Jack do a fine job filling the void this week but things are made especially awesome since everyone has played a good amount of Max Payne 3. If you wanted to hear our opinions on Rockstar's attempt at reviving the Max Payne series, this is the podcast for you. We dig into on-disc DLC, Dead Space 3 rumors, and most importantly, Carlos's choice of undergarments and his fascination with Ouiji boards!
