I love seeing a twist on a classic. Angela Lawrence is an applique person, so of course I'm super excited to talk applique! She works with cotton and wool, and her new wool book is what caught by eye. We are going to talk appliqueing with wool today.

Sometimes I may be just as thrilled as the author is when their book comes out! This is the case for Amy Friend, I love her work and she is amazing a selecting just the right fabric for a project! Amy's book is called Intentional Piecing: From Fussy Cutting to Foundation Piecing and we are going to learn about that and some tricks for fabric selection!
