Maniac Cop 2 (1990)

Mind if I smoke...the guys place Maniac Cop 2 in the classic Christmas movie section. They also establish all the new guidelines for cell phones/bathroom use. They really show their age in this one. Chug a Green Machine and join in for all the shoot outs and action. It's a good one.

We kick off the Sequels Only category with a rough one. It's easy to see why McConaughey and Zellweger want to forget about this one. Join us as we end up discussing the complete lack of chainsaw kill action, the depths of our rating system and Doritos flavors.

Dead Heat (1988)

Bones treats the gang to their second encounter with the always great hair of Mr. Treat Williams. They throw around some hot dog theory and take in all the wild shoot outs and special effects with Dead Heat. The half horror half action flick goes down smooth and Treat is becoming a household name here on 5DR but the boys don't seem to mind too much.

I, the Jury (1982)

Sure this movie is about stone cold detective, Mike Hammer, but the stand out is Velda. She is a national treasure of a woman! Is the plot a little hard to follow? Was Jack bi? Who printed those orgy bingo cards? What's Dan's suit situation? Did McHammer have a cartoon show? None of this matters. All that matters is Velda.

Dan takes us through the murderous canals of the Netherlands. Don't worry, there are many stop along the way to take a food break. The gang also shares condom knowledge. There are so many scuba tubes in this one but it leads to one hell of a boat chase.

The Three Beefs return to discuss De Palma's Phantom of the Paradise. Kron stacks the deck with an unfair pick. Dan loves Scarface and unions but finally admits something we all knew. Bones got the 2nd vax but pulls through even with some low energy.
