This week, my husband and I opened up about our own individual coming-out stories. We start off by talking about our childhood celebrity crushes. Were you Team Backstreet Boys or Team NSYNC? Then, Brett talks about coming out later in life, and the response he received from friends and family. I share my own coming-out story and my experience with going through conversion therapy as a teen.

We also discuss the importance of visibility in healthcare, and why the nursing field needs more diversity. Remember you are who you’re meant to be, and there are many people out there who want to love and support you. You are never alone.
