November 10, 2024 - Exodus 19:1-6

Before God ever asks anything of His people, He tells them who they are. In today's talk, you will hear more about how our identity informs our mission.

The Israelite journey out of Egypt is full of threats, more threats, blessing, and even more threats. Their journey is just like our journey. Where they had both internal and external threats, we have both internal and external threats. Where they experience blessing, we also can experience blessing. How God leads and saves them is how God leads and saves us.

Even though the people grumbled and even in the wilderness God proved that He would provide for His people.

The Israelites find themselves between the Red Sea and Pharoah's army with nowhere to go. It's an impossible situation. Yet what we find is that our impossibility is God's opportunity.
