(Isaiah 11:9) According to Romans 11:12, such a global revival of both Jew and Gentile will mean untold "riches for the world." So, what do we then do with those verses in Scripture that talk about suffering, persecution, national judgement, and the nearness of the second coming of Christ? In this episode, we will seek to bring balance and clarity to the Postmillennial position as we discuss "Postmillennial Pilgrims Passing Through."

We will seek to give a simple and basic biblical foundation for you to go out and share the gospel with others.

Why is it that Reformed people—who ought to be the most gracious, well balanced, and fair minded people in the world—end up with some of the most ridiculous and extreme theological quirks and the most hostile personal grudges?

In this episode, we will talk about how we can maintain a healthy balance in both doctrine and practice. We will look to Scripture and see if there is any sure way to keep genuine Christians from losing our theological marbles. In this episode, we give some commentary and background to our first trip to The White House to do evangelism, and we will also discuss the critical tipping point we are at as a nation. These are not peace times for the church. These are war times. There is no time for spiritual sloth or slumber. The words of Jesus in Revelation 3:2 may very well be applied to us today:

"Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God."

In this episode, we are going to get a bit rowdy as we talk about the Protestant Reformation, and how those Reformation truths are just as relevant to us today as they were back on October 31st, 1517, when Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the All Saints' Church in Wittenberg. We hope this episode is a great encouragement to all of the precious chosen and elect of God, however humble their station in this present life may be. After listening to Kanye’s album the whole way through, I wanted to do an album review. However, this is much more than a mere album review. We will go beyond the music to talk about the gospel, conversion, justification, sanctification, church discipline, and apostasy. In other words, this album presents the church with an important teachable moment.

There is quite the stir right now, as there should be. Kanye West is a high profile public figure who has been well known for making vile and blasphemous music and for living an equally blasphemous lifestyle. Those of us with discernment and sound doctrine know that there are real dangers regarding false conversion and regarding the mass hysteria surrounding the Christian celebrity cult. Nevertheless, there has been evidence over the past few months that Kanye has been genuinely converted. Evidently, his pastor is actually a Master’s Seminary (think Dr. John MacArthur) graduate, not some Charismatic prosperity preacher. That fact alone ought to give his profession of faith some serious credibility.

So, how should mature Christians think about all of these things?

There is actually much more I could have said about the music in a full album review, but I’m sure that others will cover those grounds. I felt that it was important, not only to talk about the album and play some music clips, but also to talk about the much more important realities of our character as Christians and the practical implications of the gospel of Christ.

I hope that you all are blessed by this album review, and may we all pray for Kanye West in hope that King Jesus will continue to be glorified through his life and music!
