Pepita Elena McKee shares how she overcame adversity, makes a difference in her career, and how she became the CEO of Impact Resolutions. Aaron and Pepita talk about mediating between corporations and Indigenous communities regarding developments, her personal background, attending university and founding Impact Resolutions.  

Pepita Elena McKee is the CEO of Impact Resolutions, an award–winning researcher, engagement specialist, and social strategist. Pepita attended Langara College for Aboriginal Studies, Simon Fraser University for a bachelors and masters degree in sociology and anthropology. She has worked as a social and health consultant, socio-economic analyst, and now acts as a human environment regulatory and monitoring and evaluation specialist with Impact Resolutions. She  acts as a director for the Enrichment League, a Community Liaison with the First Nation Education Foundation and works on a sub-committee with Women in Mining BC. Pepita is the Co-Chair for the Technical Advisory Committee of the Indigenous Centre for Cumulative Effects.
