In today's episode of LOTW, Becky and Bevy begin to discuss the maltreatment of Laila Daniel.

In 2015, Laila Daniel celebrated her second birthday while her older sister, Millie, turned four. The sisters found themselves under the care of a loving foster family as their biological mom was working to get sober. Known for their dedication and adherence to state regulations, the foster parents were a trusted and safe place for the girls.
However, a concerning pattern emerged when an old family friend of the girls' biological mother entered the scene. After visits with this individual, Laila and Millie returned home bearing unexplained bruises. Despite these red flags, many of the incidents were overlooked, highlighting a lapse in oversight by the girls' caseworker.
Tragically, the situation escalated when one of the girls suffered a severe injury, prompting suspicions of something far more sinister at play.
