On the night of February 13, 2000, 15-year-old Nick Kunselman was working the closing shift at a Subway sandwich shop in Littleton, Colorado. At around 10:00 pm, his 16-year-old girlfriend, Stephanie Hart-Grizzell, showed up to hang out as Nick closed down the store. At around 12:45 am on what was now February 14, another Subway employee drove by and noticed the store lights were still on. She decided to stop, and when she went inside, she found Nick and Stephanie behind the counter, both dead from gunshot wounds. The young couple’s murders shook the community, especially since both teenagers had survived the Columbine High School massacre just 10 months prior. 

Despite a thorough investigation, no motive or suspects have been identified, leaving two families desperate for answers. It’s been just over 24 years since Nick and Stephanie were murdered, and investigators are still searching for the person or people responsible…
