550 I Go To Prepare a Place for You, A Guided Christian Meditation on John 14:1-3 with the Recenter With Christ app

The purpose of this podcast is to help you find more peace in your life and connect with the true source of peace, Jesus Christ.

Outline: Relaxation, Reading, Meditation, Prayer, Contemplation and Visualization.

Get into a place where you can sit comfortably and uninterrupted for about 20 minutes.You should hopefully not be driving or anything tensing or unrelaxing. If you feel comfortable to do so, I invite you to close your eyes. Guided Relaxation / Guided Meditation: Breathe and direct your thoughts to connecting with God. Let your stomach be a balloon inflate, deflate.

NIV 14 "Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

KJV 14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Meditation:

I am normally a very prívate person and I don't share a ton about my personal life on the podcast but I have been thinking of a scripture tha aligns with something from my life. I just returned home after several months deployed overseas. When I returned home my wife had moved our house and all our things. I found myself thinking of this. It was incredibly valuable to have a home to come to that someone else had set up in preparation for the transition. My wife got a place for us and created a home for which I am immensely grateful.

As we transition from this life to the next we have someone that will do something far more impressive and important. Jesus goes to prepare a place for us after this life. Those who put their trust Him, will slays grace a place with him.

Meditation of Prayer:

Pray as directed by the Spirit.

Dedicate these moments to the patient waiting, when you feel ready ask God for understanding you desire from Him.
