Hey Sis! 🎙️
Today’s episode reminds us that following Jesus often means surrendering comfort for something far greater: His eternal reward. We’re diving into Matthew 16:24–27, where together, we reflect on what it means to prioritize Him above the temporary gains of money, pleasure, and power, and how easily our hearts can be distracted if we’re not rooted in His Word.
We’re also continuing into day 4 of our devotional What It Means to Obey God by John Bevere, with a powerful reminder that obedience doesn’t always feel good—but it is always worth it. Looking at the example of Jesus in Gethsemane, we see that even in the midst of anguish and suffering, His submission to the Father’s will brought salvation for us all. If you’ve ever wrestled with trusting God when obedience feels uncomfortable or costly, this episode will encourage you to lean on His strength and believe that He never wastes your pain.
