6 AM ET: Walz accepts VP nomination, RFK Jr. set to drop out, rail lockout & more

Governor Tim Walz officially introduced himself as the Democrats nominee for vice president last night, while some lawmakers showed support for the uncommitted voters at the Democratic National Convention. Sources tell CNN that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is expected to suspend his independent campaign for president. A rail lockout in Canada is threatening to disrupt several US industries.
