Hi everyone, it’s Kanako. Today’s shadowing is “Numbers”. After you memorize 1 to 10, you will be able to count up to 99, because numbers after 11 are just a combination of numbers from 1 to 10.

Some numbers have several pronunciations, and it depends on what counter comes after the numbers.

For instance, 4 is pronounced yon in general, but four people in Japanese is "yo-nin", so we don't pronounce it as "Yon".
