Rebecca enjoyed a twenty-year career as a clinic director with the San Diego VA Healthcare System; was an associate clinical professor in the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego; and maintained an active private practice. She is coauthor of two popular books bridging addiction recovery with the power of mindfulness. The Gift of Recovery is a "pocket coach" designed to strengthen recovery. The Mindfulness Workbook for Addiction is a go-to guide for understanding the relationship between moods and substance use.
