Hi everyone, it’s Kanako. Today’s shadowing is “Have not… yet” Short-form.

Since we use this expression very often, I made another episode to practice this grammar in short form. The short form of 「～ていません」 is 「～てない」

I haven't called yet.　まだ電話してない。

Did you take a bath yet?  もうお風呂　入った？

I haven't taken a bath yet.　まだお風呂　入ってない。

Have you had dinner yet?　もう晩ごはん　食べた？

I haven't had dinner yet.  まだ晩ごはん　食べてない。

Are you ready?  もう準備(じゅんび)　できた？

I'm not ready yet.  まだ準備　できてない。

Have you seen the new movie yet?　もう新しい映画　見た？

I haven't seen it yet.  まだ見てない。

Have you taken your medication yet?  もう薬　飲んだ？

I haven't taken my medication yet.  まだ薬　飲んでない。
