Facebook recently released yet another app, this time to track events. It enables marketers to set up app event tracking without having to add code but the problem is nobody is using it. Do you know how many events are taking place near your home today? and if you wanted to look for a list, how would you find them?
Despite advances in technology, the event landscape is extremely fragmented with event information scattered in multiple places. All of which are typically are invisible to their target audience as virtual press releases get lost in the white noise.
Richard Green, is the Founder and CEO, of Evvnt. The London-based tech startup which has developed a unique event marketing automation software that is transforming the event industry through its event tech. Evvnt are gaining a big reputation both here in Europe and now in the US so I invited him onto the show to learn more.
Through scalable SaaS technology, Evvnt creates a campaign of marketing activity to ensure individual events appear on over 3,500 event listing sites. Since its launch in 2012, Evvnt has had over 30,000 customers across 139 countries. The company is also preparing to launch in the US, having recently entered into an agreement for a $450,000 investment from three US newspaper groups.
Essentially, Evvnt develops a software platform which helps event organizers manage and promote events across event listing sites, calendars, directories, ticketing, social networks and search engines.
