  • Amy Wagner_TimTam size
6PR Breakfast discovered that flavoured TimTam packets have less of the iconic chocolate biscuits than packets of the original flavour.
The original flavour has 11 biscuits in the average size packets, but in the same size packets the flavoured TimTam has just nine biscuits, Steve and Baz were shocked by the difference and called the makers of the Aussie staple.
"You're getting different; different ingredients, different products," Amy Wagner, spokesperson from Campbell Arnott's told us.

  • Lizzie Porter_Beruit
Thousands have been injured and dozens killed in a massive explosion in Beruit at around 6pm local time.
A foreign correspondent based in Beruit was injured in the blast while she was in her apartment.
Lizzie Porter spoke with Steve and Baz about her experience.
"It was an enormous bang; that blew me backwards with the door. Blew me off my feet and my glasses off my face," Porter told 6PR Breakfast.
"My immediate thought was if this is a missile, which is a theory that has been largely ruled out now, then there's going to be another one so we took shelter and started checking on the neighbours."
"People in Beruit have lived through lots, they've lived through many explosions in the past, neighbours I've been speaking to here have said that previous car bombs were not like this."

  • Clare Lugar_water corp foundation stone
An underground drain system has been hiding a part of Perth's history until it was recently uncovered by some Water Corp tradies.
A routine inspection of a pipe system in East Perth revealed a foundation stone dating back to 1901 with the cast morter sign still in good condition.
But a spokesperson from the Water Corp says it's unlikely the historical stone could be brought up for the public to see.
"It's actually concreted in, so it's set into the wall of the drain.
"It's like an inspection shaft that goes from the surface right down five metres below ground," Clare Lugar told 6PR Breakfast.
"The only way we discovered it was by putting a robot down there."
