    Australia and New Zealand were named host nations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
    The trans-Tasman bid beat the rival bid from Colombia – 22 votes to 13.
    The tournament will be split between 12 cities across the two countries. Perth’s HBF Park is one of the proposed venues but not Optus Stadium. The plan is for Perth host group games, a round of 16 game, a quarter final and the 3rd versus 4th play off game.
    James Curtis worked with the State Government on the pitch and told Steve and Baz it's huge for WA. 
    "Huge announcement, still coming to terms with it really. It's one of those pretty emotional times I think. Lots of people stayed up til early hours of the morning and hopefully are going to celebrate all day," the Football West CEO told 6PR Breakfast.

    Steve Mills is setting off on an adventure this weekend when he treks up to Kalbarri on a camping trip, but he's no savy camper.... so we got a survival expert to give him some tips. 
    Bob Cooper author of Outback Survival, gave Millsy the best advice to make his tent waterproof and comfortable as well as what he will need if he goes for a bush walk. 
    Mr Cooper told Steve and Baz a first aid kit should always be taken on a walk and it should include a whistle, a mirror, and some stock cubes.
