  • Belinda Bromilow_The Great
If you're looking for a new binge-worthy show with a twist, The Great is a period drama filled with satire, and it stars one of Perth's own.
WAAPA Graduate Belinda Bromilow has acted in Aussie TV series Doctor, Doctor and Packed to the Rafters but now she's reaching an international audience through her kooky character, Aunt Elizabeth, in The Great.
"I love playing kooky people, you've got a lot more room to play around; you don't have to make things appropriate or normal which is quite freeing as an actor," Bromilow told 6PR Breakfast.
Her character takes on the odd hobby of training butterflies but it doesn't always go to plan, as a good actor does, Bromilow prepared for that part of the role, as much as she could.
"I went to the London Zoo to do a bit of research; tried to wrangle a couple but they are pretty unwieldy those little guys," she said.
All episodes of The Great are available to stream now on Stan!

  • Trevor Long Cyber Attack
Australian organisations, including Government organisations, are being targeted by a cyber attack.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison said they know it's a "sophisticated state-based cyber actor because of the scale and nature of targeting."
Meanwhile the Minister for Defence Senator Linda Reynolds gave three steps for organisations to take if they are concerned about the attack:
Patch your internet facing devices promptly
Always use multi factor authentication to secure your internet access and cloud-based platforms
    Become and ACSC partner
6PR's tech expert Trevor Long explained some of the terminology to Steve and Baz.
"When they bring a State into it, they're saying that it has the backing of another nation, he [Morrison] didn't go into any lengths to try and help us feel like that was a friendly nation or otherwise."

"I felt pretty good a few days later, I was hopping and doing all my stuff again. I've done one running session since," Acres told 6PR Breakfast.
