Jesse Galganov, a talented 22-year-old, decided to embark on a gap year adventure, backpacking through South America and Asia before starting medical school.  Setting off from Canada in September 2017, his first destination was Peru.

A couple days after arriving, Jesse sent a text to his mom letting her know he planned to go on a four-day trek along the Santa Cruz Trail and would be out of reach during that time. 

However, shortly after this communication, Jesse mysteriously vanished without a trace.

Possible scenarios include Jesse getting lost on the trail, encountering a fall, or succumbing to the harsh elements. Yet, the complexity of this case suggests that the explanation might not be as straightforward as it initially seems, with numerous twists and turns adding to the mystery.
