Between Two Clinicians

7. The Anti-Hero

Listen Later

In this episode, Talia and Adam discuss how you can better tolerate being in the wrong or being in the position to take accountability in your life or your relationship. Sometimes when you come to your therapist with a problem, you can discover that you might be the one who needs to change their behavior, not the person you have a complaint about. You may need to make some changes in order to enjoy your relationship. You may need to remanage your expectations and scripts about "what a relationship should be like". A perspective change from within yourself may be at the core of solving your complaint. Are you ready for that conversation? Are you ready to take accountability? And are you ready to change?
