When the lunch lady gives Red more change than he is due, he decides to keep it and not give it back. Betty and Joy confront him, insisting that he is stealing from the school. They ask him to remember the lessons that Uncle Greybilly has taught in Sunday school.

Red learns the lesson of Proverbs 19:20:

"Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future."

From this Proverb he learns:

It is important to hold on to the advice we are given.

Remembering the wise words spoken to us helps us stay on course in life. They shape and guide our future.

When we follow Jesus, He puts His Holy Spirit in our heart. He reminds us of these very precious truths.

He keeps our hearts aligned with His all the days of our lives.
