A public hearing today of the January 6th committee will look at whether Donald Trump helped mobilize extremist groups at the Capitol. Firefighters are in a desperate battle to save the giant Sequoias from raging flames. The families of victims in Uvalde, Texas are still looking for answers -- after the deadly shooting in their community. The president will leave Washington tonight for a long-expected and politically delicate visit to the Middle East. In Tokyo this morning, thousands of people lined the streets to say farewell to Japan's longest- serving prime minister, Shinzo Abe.
