When our country locked down in March of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many jokingly quipped that people will either get fat and lazy, get in the best shape of their lives, or get pregnant. When January 2021 rolled around, the world anxiously awaited the news. Was there about to be a baby boom? Our 3rd grandchild was born late January – a clear and undeniable COVID baby. Sadly, the overall US and world statistics showed a baby bust. Is this good or bad news? What does this say about our culture? What should the homeschooling community think and do about this trend?
