Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) formally launched his 2024 presidential election campaign with a video posted to social media Wednesday evening. Gov. DeSantis was slated to release the video announcement alongside a scheduled interview with Elon Musk over Twitter Spaces, but the event was delayed due to technical issues on the social media app. The announcement was posted a few hours after Gov. DeSantis filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission.
