Self Actualized Individual. Have you ever heard of this term?

A self actualized person is someone who makes a consistent attempt to focus on taking charge of their health and striving to improve it. This is someone who is reaching their full potential, and is on the path to greatness. Sounds great right? That’s what we all want. However, a lot of people are wondering how? How can I consistently show up for myself instead of being stuck in a cycle of giving up on myself over and over. Today I am teaching on Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. This theory shows us that there are different layers of self care that build on one another. The idea though, is that if you haven’t taken care of the basic needs that you can not progress to the next level of self actualization.
