Today I’m excited to share an interview that I did on Casey Zavaleta’s podcast "How Do You Feel?".
Casey is a functional strength coach at All Day Fit, a personal training gym based out of Toronto, Canada. Casey’s mission is to help teach women to tune in to their bodies so they can make decisions about their fitness, health, and lifestyle that are right for them. She believes that we should stop obsessing about how we want to look and start focusing on how we want to feel.
Prior to her time there, Casey also worked for Toronto Football Club’s Department of High Performance, where she developed programs to optimize the performance of professional athletes.
In this episode, we talk about the importance of rest and recharging for high performance in every area of our lives. We also discuss how we can actually use this strange pandemic time to give ourselves a reboot, discover our true priorities, and craft our lives from the ground up.
