Nintendo finally remembered what made Star Fox special. After years of waiting and the disappointment of Star Fox Zero, I finally got my hands on the new Star Fox for Nintendo Switch 2—and as someone who considers Star Fox 64 one of the greatest Nintendo games ever made, I have a lot to say.

In this review, I break down the graphics, gameplay, replayability, Challenge Mode, multiplayer, soundtrack, and whether Star Fox is actually worth the price. More importantly, I explain why this feels like the first Star Fox game in years that truly understands what made the series a Nintendo classic.

The Steam Machine is not better than the base PS5. It is more expensive, less optimized, and worse at actually running games—and Valve reportedly wants over $1,000 for it.

In this video, we compare the Steam Machine vs PS5 on gaming performance, specifications, price, storage, optimization, and overall value. The result is embarrassing for Valve. A regular PlayStation 5 costs hundreds of dollars less, includes a DualSense controller, and delivers a smoother, more reliable gaming experience.

The Steam Machine was supposed to bring SteamOS and PC gaming into the living room. Instead, Valve created an overpriced mini-PC that may need reduced settings, aggressive upscaling, and frame generation just to compete with the base PS5.

We are not comparing it to the PS5 Pro. We are talking about the regular base PS5—and the Steam Machine still comes out looking worse.

Valve did not build a PS5 killer. It built a $1,000 gaming machine that gets humiliated by a cheaper console.

The Steam Machine price has officially been revealed—and Valve may have killed this thing before it even launches.

The cheapest 512GB Steam Machine costs $1,049 without a controller. Add the Steam Controller and the price jumps to $1,128. The 2TB model costs $1,349, while the complete 2TB bundle with a controller reaches an unbelievable $1,428.

At nearly $1,500, who is this actually for?

The entire appeal of the Steam Machine was supposed to be bringing the simplicity of console gaming to Steam and PC gaming. Instead, Valve has released a premium-priced gaming PC that costs more than multiple consoles combined.

In this video, I discuss the confirmed Steam Machine pricing, the storage problem, the controller being sold separately, comparisons to gaming PCs and consoles, and why I believe Valve’s new hardware is dead on arrival.
