Luck was on his side when Mike's first-ever foray into Marvel Comics was the incredible 1985 miniseries LONGSHOT by Ann Nocenti & Arthur Adams! While the title character and his rogues gallery would become fixtures in X-Men comics for years to come, the original 6-issue series remains a fantastic standalone-read and a creative high point in 1980s Marvel history.
