A 403B account is a retirement account for certain employees of public schools and tax-exempt organizations. Participants in 403B accounts often include teachers, school administrators, professors, government employees, nurses, doctors, and librarians.
If you want to start your 403B account, you will do so through your employer. You’ll contribute to your 403B via payroll deductions. Next, you have to determine which provider you’ll use to manage the funds you are investing in. Make sure to pay close attention to your options when it comes to choosing a provider - just because you have a lot of options, it doesn’t mean they are all good quality choices.
