On the eve of Halloween in 1984, Robin was viciously attacked and killed during her shift by William Charles Marshall, a former employee who targeted the restaurant for robbery. Although Marshall was initially arrested, insufficient evidence led to his release, leaving the case unsolved for over twenty years. It wasn’t until 2006, when a critical piece of foam from his boot connected him to the crime, that justice was finally served.
