The Allyzibeth Lamont case is one of the most heartbreaking and infuriating true crime stories to come out of upstate New York. โAllyโ Lamont was a bright, hardworking 22-year-old from Gloversville, known for her honesty, her sharp sense of humor, and her refusal to let people take advantage of her. She worked at a local deli in Johnstown, just trying to earn a fair living. But in the fall of 2019, Ally vanished.
When she didnโt come home one late-October night, her devastated family and friends launched a frantic search, and the truth that investigators uncovered would prove more calculated and cold-blooded than anyone imagined. This was no random tragedy. Someone wanted Ally dead.
What did Allyzibeth Lamont know that made her a target? In this episode of True Crime with Kimbyr, we trace the full Allyzibeth Lamont case: the courageous young woman she was, the truth she was brave enough to tell, and the shocking betrayal that cost her everything.

On Halloween morning in 2019, 26-year-old Kristen Trickle was supposed to get up and go to work. Her alarm was set, and Halloween candy was waiting in the kitchen for trick-or-treaters. Instead, her husband, Colby Trickle, called 911 in Hays, Kansas, and said she had shot herself. The coroner made his ruling, but Kristenโs family didnโt believe it, and neither did the detective who walked into that house. Kristen's tragic death turned into a years-long fight to prove what really happened, one that ended with the first psychological autopsy ever used in a Kansas criminal case. This is Kristenโs story: who she was, the life she was building, and the investigation that refused to let her death be written off.

For more than thirty years, headlines have focused on Christa Pike. Her childhood, her appeals, her execution. But this story was never supposed to be about her! That's what she always wanted - ALL the attention, and she's STILL getting it. Colleen Slemmer is the real victim here. In January 1995, Colleen was 19 and 400 miles from home, a quiet, kind girl from Orange Park, Florida, chasing a computer certificate at the Knoxville Job Corps Center in Tennessee. She studied every night. She was there to succeed. And on a cold, wet Thursday night, she walked out of her dorm with three classmatesโฆ and never signed back in.This is the whole, real story of Colleen: who she was, what happened behind that old steam plant, the warnings nobody took seriously, and the mother who has spent three decades fighting for her daughter, piece by piece. Plus, where things stand right now, after Tennesseeโs failed execution attempt made national headlines. Her name was Colleen Slemmer. Letโs make sure people remember it.

This video is for informational and commentary purposes based on public reporting and police statements. All suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.18-year-old college freshman Karoline Heintz was found dead in the back of her own Jeep in Pennsylvania just days into her first semester at PennWest University. In this true crime video, I break down the case, what police bodycam footage showed when officers found her Jeep in a parking lot, how her dad tracking her AirTag led police to her, and why demons got brought up in an interview. We also look at the disturbing allegations against a mother in the alleged cover-up, from washing clothes to hiding evidence, and what the psychology and legal system tell us about this case. This is still unfolding in PA, and Iโll follow updates as it heads toward court. Follow for weekly deep dives into the behavior and psychology behind true crime cases
80โs Spotify Playlist: https://spotify.link/yjmsrGPe8Db๐ฏ๏ธ THIS IS A NEW SERIES! It's the debut of my Death Through The Decades series. This episode features a Halloween murder at a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant in the 1980s. The videos in this series go in depth about what life was like in that decade. What policing was like in the 1980s, technology (or lack thereof), and what the culture was like. I'll be diving into the 80's, 90's, and the 2000's and I've lived through all three, so I've been there! I really hope you appreciate the nostalgia and connect even more with the people who have lost their lives and are frozen in time. In October 1984, Robin Hoynes was a KFC manager in Southern California when she crossed paths with a monster.

Our second case is The Taylor Van Diest case out of Canada. On Halloween night in 2011, 18-year-old Taylor Van Diest left her home in the small, close-knit town of Armstrong, British Columbia, dressed as a zombie and buzzing with excitement, and she was meeting up with friends for one last Halloween before they all grew up. It was a short, familiar walk she'd made countless times. She never arrived.
As Taylor made her way through the dark, her phone lit up with texts between her and a friend; they were ordinary, happy messages about the night ahead. And then, one message changed everything. Taylor wrote that she thought she was "being creeped" - meaning that someone was following her in the dark. It would be the last anyone ever heard from her.
In this episode of True Crime with Kimbyr, we trace the full Taylor Van Diest case: the vibrant young woman she was, the chilling final messages she sent, and the relentless investigation that refused to let her killer stay hidden.

My Halloween Series has begun! The name of these series are chosen by the community every year & I reveal a special intro for each one. Our first case is one that really affected me. What happened to Stephanie, and what her poor family went through, still makes me tear up when I think about it today. Stephanie Parze was a vibrant 25-year-old makeup artist and social media influencer from Freehold Township, known for her warmth, creativity, and fierce love for her family. On the night before Halloween in 2019, Stephanie went out with her mom and relatives for a girls' night, a show featuring a well-known psychic. The family came home together. Stephanie headed to her own place just minutes away. And thenโฆ nothing.
When her car and phone were found at the house the next morning, but Stephanie was nowhere to be seen, her family knew immediately that something was horribly wrong, she would never leave without her phone, and never go silent on the people she loved. What followed was an agonizing search that would grip all of New Jersey, as her devoted parents refused to stop until they found her.
In this episode of True Crime with Kimbyr, we trace the full Stephanie Parze case: the bright young woman she was, the chilling night she vanished, and a father's relentless fight to bring his daughter home.

PART TWO: โ HEREโ
On a Friday night in December 1991, four teenage girls planned a sleepover. Two of them were working the closing shift at a shop in a strip mall in north Austin, Texas. PART TWO of a THREE-PART Series - WATCH PART ONE: HERE
DNA ๐งฌ database: https://www.gedmatch.com/
On a Friday morning in April of 1990, a woman in Greenville, South Carolina didn't show up for work. Nobody had heard from her in almost thirty-six hours. When maintenance finally opened her apartment door, water was still running in the tub and it had overflowed into the apt. Her name was Genevieve, but everyone called her Jenny. She was twenty-eight years old, originally from Youngstown, Ohio, and she had moved to South Carolina less than two years earlier and built an entire life there from scratch. Her case went cold. However in Part ONE we found out that sixteen years later, and six hundred miles away, investigators in Portageville, Missouri, finally developed a full DNA profile in the 1998 murders of 38-year-old Sherri Scherer and her 12-year-old daughter Megan, who were killed inside their own farmhouse in a forty-minute window while the rest of the family was stuck behind a truck blocking the only road home.Missouri had spent eight years with evidence they couldn't use. When they finally entered that profile into the national database, it came back to an apartment in South Carolina. Two unsolved cases became one unsolved case. And there was still no name.

THIS IS PART ONE OF A THREE-PART SERIES - Watch part two: HERE
Hello everyone, I'm going to be in London for the next two weeks at CrimeCon UK, so I prepared a three-part series for you to watch while I am away. THIS is the first installment.
On Saturday, March 28, 1998, a mother and daughter living on a farm with their family in Portageville, Missouri, were found dead in their home. This was a farm town of about 3,300 people where nobody locked their doors because out there, whoever came up your driveway was somebody you knew or somebody who needed help.In this episode, we go through the case from the beginning. Who Sherri and Megan were, what that town was like in 1998, everything investigators found, and why a case with this much evidence went nowhere for years. This is Part One.
