Welcome back everyone!
This week I' m excited to share my interview with Dr. Gillian White. Gill did her PhD with me at the University of Toronto. Gill’s research was on stress reactivity in children with cancer. Gill has developed an expertise in neurophysiology, stress, behaviour, and how physical activity can modulate stress.
In this conversation, we discuss what she’s learned from her research about stress and how we can apply these learnings to our every day life. She discusses the importance of having stress in our lives and that we shouldn’t try and eliminate it, but rather manage it constructively and effectively.
I think this conversation is very topical as we’re all trying to deal with increasing levels of stress in our lives right now. So hopefully this is really helpful for you and you get some good insight into different behavioural strategies and habits you can incorporate into your life to manage stress.
Enjoy the conversation!
