He walked out of his house and headed toward his car, but the peaceful morning routine was shattered by the sound of gunshots.  After Eric’s murder, his family was thrown into a long painful journey of profound loss, while searching for answers.  Questions swirled about the motive behind the senseless act, and speculation ran rampant about who could have committed such a heinous crime.
