Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another epic round of Challengers Unplugged where your hosts Rick, Corrina and Tony are going Beyond the Edit with none other than the Amazing Racer/Challenger/all around badass, Cayla Platt! Cayla walks us through her early years in life including what she wanted to be when she grew up, what her zest for life was and why she played so many sports! She even tells us about college and then getting up and taking off to another country on a whim where she found a huge passion in life. We also walk through getting casted for Amazing Race (this story is crazy), going on Amazing Race and then having to take a 19 month hiatus before filming the remainder of the show. We talk about the difference between the traditional aspects of Amazing Race VS the different conditions her season had to endure due to the pandemic and how it effected not only Amazing Race but her life and job as well. Finally, we break into getting casted on CBS's The Challenge USA, what it was like playing with so many CBS legends, who her true alliances were in the house despite the edit, what it felt like making it to TJ's final, her thoughts on various events that occurred, and finally she walks us through what happened at the top of that mountain in the final leg of TJ's final on The Challenge USA. Cayla truly is an amazing person who has lived an amazing life! She is the epitome of living fearlessly with zest and we are so thrilled we got to bring you such a complete and well rounded story of her life.
