What's the first thing you do in the morning when you wake up? For most of us it is to watch our phones to see what is going on in the world. And most times it's bad news. Meditation. Do some deep breathing and focus on the positive to put yourself in that state of mind.

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention by Manning Marable, are two books that change my mindset as well as giving me a deeper look at a man whom I value. If you have the chance to read either, or both of these books,take it.

I hate that I do it,but the craving for a cigarette is so strong especially when I'm drinking. I've stopped once for a month then the urge came on strong...ughhh. It's a tough habit to quit but I'll kick it and so will those who want to quit as well.

It's everywhere. The big companies are supposed to be the ones to start the ball rolling with effective change in this regard,yet they put profit before people. We need to cut back on companies that don't promote the use of recyclable or renewable products.

Whether we want to accept it or not,humans have played a pivotal role in the sharp increase in the Earth's average temperature. The 10 hottest years have all come in the last 15 years with 2016 being the hottest ever recorded. Banning fossil fuels isn't the answer alone as there are over 6000 products produced from it. We need to reduce our carbon footprint.

The final frontier.

I've always been fascinated about space;its size,its secrets,the undiscovered worlds. It is beyond huge. It is as scary as it is beautiful and I wish I was born when space travel is as commonplace as taking a taxi,that's for my grandkids at least! And the endless theories about how it began and how it may end also present a dichotomy of wonder and daunting. Take this journey with me.
