My loves, my babies. The 3 persons who will always have my heart, my love, and my support. I don't wake up with them as often as I would love to but that doesn't change the love I have for them. Whenever I feel down or like giving up, I watch them faces and get just enough to push on through. I love you Jesse, Justin, and Az-Zahra.

...is not fostering a healthy relationship with my father. It took him passing away for me to truly understand and appreciate him. Many times during any given year I just zone out imagining a world where he is still alive and we both have an active positive relationship. The day he died is still a blur. I miss his voice. I miss him. I love you Dad.

Why is asking for assistance or expressing emotions as a man viewed as him being weak? Why must we always be almost stoic like? The stigma surrounding men expressing their emotions is disheartening and, in extent, dehumanizes us. When we express them we are either viewed as soft, it gets brushed aside, or used as ammo against us. We are fighting a battle with little to no allies. Communicating how you feel inside shouldn't be exclusive for women and children. We, men, have feelings as well. Allow us that safe space to unravel, to unpack them without it being held against us. Allow us to be.

New year, new things to discover, 365 days of unknown wilderness. After the rollercoaster journey that was 2020, you and I have made it to 2021. What this year holds for us is not known but that won't stop us for giving our best.

As with every new year comes New Year's Resolution and the resulting burnout by March, however I have come with a solution that will hopefully fix that. It's called "Your Theme." from YouTuber CGP Grey. Instead of a specific goal, this method focuses on habits that assists us to met and exceed our goals.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!! This is the last episode for 2020. I know both you and I hope that 2021 will be better than this year...and I believe it would be. Having only positive expectations can, from some perspectives, make you appear mad. Be called a dreamer. And that's all good, for dreamers make the world a reality. This year has shown us that despite the pandemic, unemployment, riots etc... we still hold onto that hope that 2021 will be the start of something new and better.
