Today on LOTW Becky and Bevy discuss a very sad tale of how domestic abuse can turn ugly. The story is of Mark van Dongen and Berlinah Wallace. The two met in 2010 in Bristol. Mark, a young engineer, was drawn to Berlinah's lively personality and striking presence. Their relationship started with passion and excitement, but it soon took a darker turn.

Berlinah's jealousy and possessiveness began to surface, leading to frequent arguments and emotional abuse. She would often control Mark's actions, isolate him from friends, and manipulate him with threats. The initial charm that brought them together was overshadowed by Berlinah's increasingly abusive behavior, setting the stage for a tragic and harrowing series of events.
