First Half

We talk MLB All Star Game. It was in DC this year! Bryce Harper of the Washington Nationals wins a slightly controversial Home Run Derby. Eric talks about the Yacht Rock concert he went to over the weekend with his brother. Then we talk about legalized gambling at MetLife stadium. We wrap up by discussing why everyone feels the need to speed up sports. Then Eric goes to the bathroom.

Second Half

We get a recap of Eric’s bathroom trip. LaVeon Bell is now a free agent. We discuss possible landing sites for him. We move on to the topic of changing the violent off-field culture of the NFL. Naturally that brings us to the topic of the final Blockbuster video store in the US. Back to sports! We talk about Manny Machado going to the Dodgers and answer a listener question.

We were off a week so we review what we’ve been up to. We discuss the merits of John Mayer joining Dead & Company. There’s also a little World Cup and Wimbledon talk. That moves to dating at 50+ years of age. We wrap up the first half with how bad All Star games and LeSean McCoy allegedly beating his girlfriend.

After a pee break, we get updates on our other podcasts and bars. We take some listener questions. The show finishes with some bizarre sports and discussion on getting an 8Ball team together for one of them. And Brian McAloon goes home.

We review Tommy’s hernia surgery while previewing Marc’s birthday plans all while discussing Eric’s new bar, The Rye Fox in LA. The logical progression is to go from that to DiamonBacks relief pitcher, Archie Bradley pooping himself before taking the mound to pitch.

Poopy pants naturally progresses to murder. So we discuss the dead body in Janoris Jenkins’ house. Then we move onto baseball. Marc tells Tommy & Eric about  Alexa talking to an owner with the unprompted exclamation that “When I close my eyes, all I see is people dying”.  We also discuss getting everyone together in the same place and how listeners can help the cause!

It’s our 1 year anniversary show! We talk about how Tommy’s health is deteriorating and what we did during the weekend. We also talk about baseball. We also talk about the Stanley Cup. Then Jim Jefferies shows up twice with a bit of Forrest Shaw in the middle. Jim tells us about the bit of Elvis Presley that he owns. He and Tommy give us the crazy story of how they started the Jim Jefferies Show and their first head writer.

We discuss Tommy’s increasing love of soccer & the World Cup. Eric does the fastest rundown of all the major sports in history. Then we answer many, many listener questions. Thanks to you guys for one of the funniest years of our lives!

We talk about the Washington Capitals defeat of the Las Vegas Golden Knights to win the Stanley Cup. We go into a little Cup trivia.

The Capitals lost the first game of the Stanley Cup to the Las Vegas Golden Knights. What will the rest of the series look like? How did both teams get there? The Caps were not supposed to be as good as the last few years and the Knights were a group of throwaways from an expansion draft. How did the guys spend Memorial Day? How is Marc’s dad doing?

Second Half:

This is when it got out of control. We discuss the worst songs ever sung by sports teams. Tommy talks about Sean Spicer showing up at the Jim Jefferies taping. Then Jim shows up to talk about it. Next writer/comedian Forest Shaw returns to talk about gambling and stuff. Then Brian McAloon takes the mic and discusses how in the hell sporting events are produced and directed.

First Half

Tommy survives a Spartan Race. How in the hell did he get involved in that? How is he feeling a few days later? And what did Eric do while Tommy was wheezing all weekend? What ever happened to The World’s Strongest Man Competition? Then we move onto Tommy’s golf game versus Kim Jong Il’s famous game? We touch on some Hollywood Gossip. It’s been a while, hasn’t it? We wrap up the half with how bad DC sports is and if the Caps can win the Stanley Cup.

Second Half

We get a co-habitation update from Tommy. Tommy then orders a camel as an emotional support animal. Then Tommy and Eric reminisce about old LA restaurants.

Tommy weirds out an MLB coach. Then we review Cole Beasley’s album. And we discuss entering the lottery for Masters tickets next year. Then Eric opens a can of chew.

Second Half:

We are joined by former Orioles manager, Earl Weaver. He spares a few moments to tell us how he feels about the Orioles performance this year. Next, we discuss the Capitals chances of going to the Stanley Cup Finals. That quickly turns into a discussion on seeking revenge on people if we won the lottery. And finally, whatever happened to MLB pitcher Steve Howe?

How was Cinco de Mayo? We discuss our weekend. We also get an update on Tommy’s co-habitation status.  From there we move onto the NHL. How are the playoffs progressing? Moving to the NFL, the N.O. Saints RB Mark Ingram is suspended for 4 games for PED use. That transitions naturally to Jim Jefferies on Conan O’Brien. We also talk about the NFL and cheerleaders, plus a lot more.

Second Half

We start off on Tommy’s favorite sport…soccer. Will anyone be watching the World Cup? Or will more people have watched the Black Pudding Toss World Championship. And how do you even win that competition?

This week’s show is a one act affair. We review our weekends. Who attended a music festival and who wound up in the emergency room? Or was it the same person? Then we do a little NFL Draft review. Who was smart? Who was dumb (Cleveland)? Who sounded like a 12 year old girl while taunting the home crowd? Eric spills whiskey. That gives us an idea for a future show. Eric also delves into some interesting family history. That morphs into a discussion about Al Bundy. We wrap up with a little baseball talk.
