This week in 8Ball Sports:

First Half:

Tommy is looking for some advice about the main squeeze moving in. Fortunately, Tracksuit is in studio to offer a female perspective. Then Eric & Tommy explain man humor to the already married (for 17 years) Tracksuit. Then things get awkward with the 8Ball. We move on to some baseball talk until Tommy’s dad calls and disconnects us (fortunately we both continue to record).

Second Half:

The second half begin with late night TV legend Brian McAloon in studio. The baseball talk continues for a little while. We get Brian’s take on Mike’s retirement. We find out that 8Ball Sports changes lives. How? Listen. Then we circle back to baseball before Brian has to go back to work. We continue the baseball talk and how much jail time you get for stealing 1.2 million dollars in fajitas. Then we are joined by Tommy’s boss, Jim Jefferies. We talk about how he got into baseball. Jim tells us how soccer salaries work and who killed Princess Diana.

First Half:

This week, 8Ball Sports pays tribute to host Mike Harar. No he’s not dead, but he is taking a break. No one knows if this is permanent, but we’re treating it as if it is. We have some listener responses to the leaked info, including some audio from Jacksonville Jaguar LB, Telvin Smith. Then we talk about the Mets/Nats games, the general lack of offense in the MLB, and how many teams can really make the playoffs? Are some teams already out of it? Then we take on some listener questions.

Second Half:

We continue to mourn the figurative loss of Mike Harar. Eric brings up the evolution of helmets in sports and how it’s turning athletes into wimps. Then we discuss the comedic value of urinating on a picture of Pittsburgh Penguin Sidney Crosby. The natural transition is to talk about Tommy buying furniture with with his main squeeze. Tommy takes a pee break in the middle of the show and we discuss karma smacking LeBron James in the face. We wrap up with speculation about Dez Bryant.

Act 1

Eric shows us how to tell Left from Right. Then we talk about what happens after taking 40,000 ecstasy pills. Maybe that’s why the Marlins think they should be HQ’d in the British Virgin Islands. And how about the start the Mets are having? We are interrupted midway through this Act by comedian and main squeeze of Tommy Caprio, Jaclyn Marfuggi. What’s her big news? We wrap up the segment remembering Mitzi Shore.

Act 2

We come back and discuss Mike’s toy collection from the 80’s. What happens when a Kardashian dates an NBA player? You can probably figure that one out on your own, but listen to our thoughts. That transitions smoothly into the guys giving Jaclyn & Tommy some relationship advice. Then we answer listener questions, like “If you could play a sport with your favorite athlete, what would you play and with whom?”

Act 3

We are joined by our first Patreon supporter, Eris Strigh. We find out what Eric owes her, how she found our show, and more. We also discuss current events, like a particular Japanese festival that just began.

First Half

Mike has gone missing again. Some say he’s a secret agent. Some say he has a family and responsibilities. Still others say he’s getting a third ball installed. Marc, Tommy, & Eric soldier on with talk of the March Madness Tournament and who won our pool. Next we move on to the Masters. Who’s in the lead? Who had a meltdown? Where is Tiger? Next is the MLB and our way too early impressions of how the divisions could shape up.

Second Half

We have a winner! Who is our Patreon supporter? What has he or she won? Why does everyone love Phil Mickelson? We introduce a new segment; 8Ball Sports Presents: Where Are They Now? This episode focuses on everyone’s favorite FIFA presidential candidate; Tokyo Sexwale. The NHL playoffs are almost here. What is happening there? Then we wrap up by reminiscing about how we all met and proclaiming our hunger.

Act 1

In an extended First Act, Mike is back, Eric is here for one segment, & Tommy is missing. Thank God for Marc. Act One focuses on Tommy’s disappearance, Eric’s sleep remedy, and Opening Day for Major League Baseball. Something happened this year that hasn’t happened in over 30 years. We also pay tribute to Rusty Staub & the resurgence of Roseanne.  

Act 2

In Tommy’s absence, we are joined by intrepid Hollywood Blather reporter & young adult fiction author, Bethany. We break down the Corey Feldman phantom stabbing, the chewing of Beyonce, and Leo being Leo. And we have a Johnny Manziel story. Finally.

Act 1

Quarterback guru and ESPN analyst George Whitfield joins us for a special edition of 8Ball Sports. We discuss the QB class in the upcoming draft class. Who is rising to the top and who is being undervalued? What is a “regional NFL Combine”?

What impact will the Kirk Cousins/Minnesota Vikings contract have on upcoming NFL contracts? We also talk about several of the QB moves in free agency. Who is in the right spot to succeed? We wrap up with an update on Johnny Manziel’s comeback. What’s behind it? Is it for real? What options is Johnny considering?

Act 1

Where in the world is Mike HararDiego? We know, but we don’t know, you know? We dance around the subject for a bit. Then the remaining six balls talk about St. Patrick’s Day and what they did for the first round of March Madness. Tommy discusses his test results and Marc talks about his dad’s move from Alabama to Virginia.

Act 2

Marc talk to Alabama Crimson Tide defensive end, Da’Shawn Hand. How did he go from living in Northern Virginia to playing defensive end for Nick Saban in Tuscaloosa, AL? What has been his favorite  memory from playing in 3 (yes 3) National Championship games? We play some trivia and schedule some quality time with llamas.

Act 3

Eric & Tommy come to terms with their alcohol consumption. Mike is still missing. Baseball is starting next week, the NFL Draft is looming, and we discuss team needs for both sports.

Act I

8Ball Sports presents an exclusive interview with the head coach of the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts, Marc Trestman. We talk about where he began his career in the NCAA and some of the notable people who have flourished under his coaching in the NFL. He also gives us a head coach’s view of the NFL Combine and Draft. How does the CFL differ from the NFL? In this segment, we discuss our March Madness college basketball brackets. Eric gives us his Cinderella pick of the tournament. There were some snubs and some obvious pandering. We discuss what that’s all about. We end the segment with listener questions.

Act III

This segment opens with Eric’s upcoming court appearance and Tommy’s sperm count. That somehow morphs into a discussion on MLB starting pitcher, Jake Arrieta and Tim Tebow getting cut from the Mets.
