March 09, 2026New Single In Between for BB SabinaBeth Uhe formed BB Sabina - the band name captures that transformative nature of a stage name crossed with the Yoma sabina butterfly - when she lived for seven years in Mparntwe Alice Springs. Since moving to Naarm and starting a new band line up with Warrick Newman (bass) and Travis Germaine (drums) they've released three tracks with the label Wild Gift PR and are hoping to release their album in Spring this year. Their latest single In Between is inspired by a journey from Mparntwe (Alice Springs) to Garramilla (Darwin) when swimming in a remote waterhole and watching a water bug standing effortlessly balanced by the water's surface tension. “It captures a yearning for that weightless in-between space, like the surface of the water. Not fully immersed, yet not on the land - wanting to be comfortable with that place in between.” If you happen to be in Naarm, catch the launch for the single on Sunday 15 March at the Retreat Hotel in Brunswick.Support the show: https://8ccc.com.au/donateSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information....more13minPlay
