I believe I may be one of the oldest musical debutants.

I am 57 years old and released my debut single, “Incredible To Me Now” on 20th August 2021. “Incredible” is a slow tempo song about Love lost and regret.

My next release, “World Of Thirds” is an uptempo song which highlights the inequalities throughout our world. It posits that if there are third world countries, then the world must be made up of three parts. Website here.

Growing up in the small town of Kapunda near South Australia’s Barossa Valley, Brendan McMahon discovered his love of music at the tender age of 15 after being “awed and floored” seeing Jimi Hendrix play on television; he was amazed by the sounds that Jimi could pull from a guitar and captivated by the iconic performer’s showmanship. Borrowing money from his mother (and paying it back at $2 a week) he promptly bought himself a $60 guitar and amp rig from a mate. Graeme Brookes a figurehead in professional boxing in the 1980’s. Brookes is a First Nations Australian who won the Australian lightweight title and Commonwealth lightweight title, and was a challenger for the for the Commonwealth lightweight title against Langton Tinago in England in 1986.
