Kylie Stephenson, award-winning journalist and audio producer based on Larrakia country in Darwin, is soon to visit Mparntwe & Tennant Creek on a 'Writing for Podcasts' workshop tour. Kylie is the co-creator of the Walkley Award-winning podcast series 'Lost in Larrimah'. Kylie chats to The Big Brekky about her experiences as a journalist, the creation of Lost in Larrimah, and what participants will learn during the workshops.

The Writing for Podcasts workshop tour is part of the NT Writers Centre's season 2 program, is funded by Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, and is supported by 8CCC and Barkly Arts.

The workshop will be help in Mparntwe on Saturday 15th of June at Red Hot Arts, and in Tennant Creek on Sunday 16th of June at Barkly Arts.

Current Australian amateur lightweight Champion,18-year-old Julie Ramadan, chats to The Big Brekky about her boxing career and successes. Based in Victoria and training with Shaun Thomas, she has won the Victorian state title in 2022, competed in Singapore on a self-funded trip to represent Australia in 2023, and recently won best female boxer in her division at the 2024 Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea.
